hey guys, I'm currently looking to buy an EG SI or vti or an EK VTIR. But I either can't find a good condition stock, or they're too expensive. So I was wondering what are the prices for these cars on the market?

Another question, I found an Eg Vti. The seller wants 7000 for it. Wouldn't go any lower. Issert worth it? ( full stock with 17' rims treads are gone. Resprayed a couple of times )

Thanks guys

i would pay more for a good mint condition car
than pay for a cheap one and spend money fixing it up
u just have to keep on looking
eg vti hold there value good because they are still inhigh demand

Everyone has a different opinion on value. Someone might tell you 7k is good and then the next day, someone else puts their perfect condition EG5 on sale for 6k.

Red books full if shit

It listed EG5 at 6k 5 years ago when I brought mine ($10k rock stock and only 95k on the clock.. and took me two months to find that one.

Plus red book listed the 92-95 VTi has having DOHC VTec till I e-mailed them...!!!

Tell you what, I'll buy ten EG5's at the price red book lists and sell em for a huge profit :)

please don't tell me you actually use redbook?!
"maket value" is a load a crap! it's a made up number so insurance companies don't have to pay you what your car is actually worth

A bit off.

ek4s still expect to pay from 11,000 - 16,000.

Ones with 160+ km's start at around 11,000, immac around 16,000 give or take for mods.

The mean reason that Honda are over priced is because of the [P] Plate rule!!

blabla
06-01-2009, 09:46 AM
Thats is so true but since that idiot in the ITR that killed the girl by wrapping it around a tree on newbridge rd chipping norton. I doubt very much that [P] Platers will be aloud to drive type r's after the accident.

All I can say if that was some joe blo that wasnt on there P's it wouldnt of been front page news. its bull how P's platers get picked on. the best way to stop ppl picking on you is not drive like u have ur p's but drive like u have a full license.

after a fair search, i finally got my self a '96 ek4, but it has very low kms say around 75xxxkms. engine, interior, exterior very clean. came stock. would the kms be legit considering the body and engine bay is very clean?

ROL-13Z 94 vtec
09-01-2009, 08:13 PM
you shouold be able to tell by the engine bay if it is clean and in great nik you problerly got a good buy on your hands but a easy way to tell if the kms are legit is to look at it and see iff the numbers line up in a dead stright line
