Double Din DVD Player

I was thinking of installing a Double Din size DVD Player in my Civic FD... There are two I have short listed and available here in Aus for $699 one is a Panasonic the other one a Pioneer. I was wondering has anyone seen these brands set up in a car as the thing that concerns me is the ability to see the screen in dayllight, a mate has a Jensen in his car and the screen is a bit hopeless to view with daylight.

i have a pioneer double din , mines fine in the sun . if you find you car see it just tint your windows i guess?

^ not that i no of . the units with them built in are worth about 1800 + pretty pricey

You can actually buy a gps hideaway unit made by a company called HITV which is compatible with the new alpine headunits in terms of touch screen.
