Get a hold off Hondata or something more commonly used in the Honda Community

totally agree. Having pulled out a couple of other aftermarket ECU's off hondas recently and replaced with either OEM ECU's or hondata's , it makes sense to use something widely known and made for this application.

for all those Hondata fans
The ED9 CRX is obd0 so this means i have to buy and decent hondata, then buy the conversion wiring loom and buy a OBD1 Dizzy. (which can be a pain to try and find)
Why would i do all the when i can buy another ecu that will work with OBD0!!!!

EMS ECU's are great value for money and will do the job with ease. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask away and I will endeavour to answer them for you. :)
But, saying that, I would go with whatever your tuner recommends. No point going with an ECU that your preferred tuner is not comfortable with.
Used them in 2 cars so far. Fail on both accounts. Lack of tuner. As grumpy said, go with whatever your tuner wants. FYI, the Honda made more power on the stock ecu and ran smoother but minus the pretty flames out the back though :(

thats it aye...i bought a car back in 2004 which was already using EMS...it was hard to find a tuner that did both EMS and tunes rotary's...

That was obviously the tuner's fault, not the ECU. I have seen first hand the results from a number of EMS installs and tunes and they have all been very good. As I said before, it all boils down to the tuner if the product you have is suitable for your application.

Ditto grumpy rooster - Ask your tuner. My 8860 will run just about anything, including my modded B18C5 , but was a pain to get the info for me to install it, & now it is installed, is a REAL pain to try to get it tuned. Don't waste money buying a cheap product - Get the one with the most backup & information available to you, in your locality. If I had to do it all again, I would go Hondata, even tho the 8860 is a good item, & value for money.

im aobut to wire up an ADAPTRONIC unit, cheap and wont need any converting at all. It wont be plug and play like hondata but it has alot of features and if you know a litttle you should be able to wire it up yourself.
