what you feel is the best. no use us telling you. start half way and go up or down front there.

i like my 215/45/15's from taleb tyres, a trader on here, otherwise 195/50 or 205/50 are both fine. 195 lower side wall but not as wide, 205 higher side wall but wider. i'd personally be looking into the quality of the compound and tread pattern. i always look for broad shoulder blocks for improved cornering.

if your rim is only 6" then definately 195/50 or 55 R15 depending on the car you have, and 7" is a v good fit for the 205/50R15 tyre. 6.5" would be the bare min rim width for 205 for me, yes you can fit 205 on 6" wide rim but there would be fair bit of sidewall bulge and more importantly the tyre contact patch shape isnt as good as it should be.

There is not best setting for coilovers...its depends on what is ur driving style...and what you use that for....if you go for more track setting of coz you will go the stiffer setting....if you aim on more street driving then you may wanna to set it more softer.....also depends on what spring rate you get on ur coilovers......of coz you dun wanna to set it too soft if you running stiff springs.....the choice is urs....whatever you feel comfortable and suit ur driving style is the best......hope this helps...

soft springs and too hard damper = not good
too hard springs and soft damper = not good

you have to find the right balance in the range to suit your driving needs

swaybars adds a percentage of one side spring rate to the other side and usually the dampening rate should also be increased to match.

Has anyone had the N+ on the softest setting? How soft was it ?
Anyone know of a soft coilover ? Is there such a thing.. ?

I have one Integra with king springs and one with coilovers. King springs feel like you're driving over pillows compared to the coilovers.

well on Delsol's point, ive been told there is no such thing as a soft coilover.
My mate has coilovers with 4kms at the front and 7 back. And i think its too stiff. Buddyclub are like 10 - 7....

String could u plz explain more. What coils do u have and do u feel every bumb and crash into cracks and whole in the road ?

Im after improved cornering and less body roll. I like the kings general ride, i dont wanna be constanly bumping up and down...

Any1 know much about buddy club N+'s soft damper settings ?

cheers guys

Linear springs are a different feel to progressive, maybe what you were told alluded to this. I suggest you somehow get a ride in a car with coilovers somewhat similar to what you're after, so you get a feel for the ride - no one but you can know what you'll tolerate. I have 7/9 Koni/GC and you can feel everything. It's no fun when driving from A-B.

+ 1

You don't want to be running 205 on 6-6.5inch wide wheel. It'll look super chunky, if your after grip then check out the compound rating this determines the grip level. Width is based on Surface Area.

I run 195/50/15 on a 7" wide wheel

thanksthere is no such thing as a best setting. Everyone likes different things. Its up to you to find YOUR BEST setting.15" rim by how many inch wide??? 15x10? or 15x6? or anywhere in between?

Depends on what wheels you have i think 205/50/15 or 195/55/15 stay close to your stock wheel settings you don't want your speedo to be inaccurate.

I have a set of buddyclub N+ well my front is on lowest and rare is set to the middle. Damper setting is set to 4 all around and feels great =]. However setting the front on lowest for my front it scrapes alot when driving in bumpy roads. Id suggest to not put it too low.

for the tyres on a 15", it depends on width... as well as your driving/tyre preferences.

for 15" stock/oem/similar size wheels (most likely 6.5-7" wide):
on ek's stock size is 195/15/55... i've personally run that size and it's perfect. 195/50/15 is also good, a lower profile but still nice on ek's. i'm pretty sure you can go 205 on a stockish size rim, but you would need to go 50 profile or lower else it'll look and be too fat (and may put your speedo off).

anyway i run 205/45/16 as a daily on my EK - this makes the diameter almost exactly same as stock 195/55/15, only the tread is 10mm wider... no probs at all and i reckon this is the perfect size.

oh and i'm sure the jdm dc2s don't run 215... especially on a 6" wheel. for a factory wheel/tyre combo on a fwd, that pretty extreme...

yep for stock 15x6 rims 195/55/15 is best, afaik 205 is probably as side of a tyre as you can go
you can run 50 profiles but load rating is a bit low for ek but people have run without a problem
running lower profile tyres will somewhat change the final drive too so you'll have slightly better acceleration

afaik jdm dc2r's had 16x7" rims which explains the wider tyres
