No it isn't. The lounge is for off topic threads. Topics which are non-Honda. Even if you had a thread about Nissans/Toyotas/Ferraris/Porsches, then you would put it either in the lounge or noob section. It is not for mindless spam. Mindless spam goes into the spam thread.

Blitz , you received an infraction from Panda because it was an unnecessary thread - following the previous "racially based spotted chat" threads. It was a practically vague and useless thread , which can be covered and discussed in the general SPAM thread (regardless of title ,it IS is the same place it has been forever)

An infraction is essentially a warning to you , obtain enough warnings in a certain time you get banned etc. Dont take it to heart,just dont make useless threads like "So how many people are on ozhonda?" etc.

i think that if you can't give rep points in the lounge then you shouldnt be allowed to give infringements either

yes you should moderate it and delete spam and reposts

but i think infringements on an area where rep points aren't allowed to be given seems to be a double standard

Infractions can be dealt anywhere in the forum - there are rules in the lounge - you break em, you'll get an infraction.

There are no double standards at all as rep points and infractions are 2 completely different systems.
