My mates shocks are finally stuffed and he's looking at replacing them.
With a budget of $1000 including installation, what are his options?
standard spec shocks are fine.

For that budget he should be able to get something nice like Koni yellows. Not sure how they will go matched to stock springs, it might be better to use ITR springs or something like that.

look for a nice set of second hand coilovers and put them in yourself, or go for some koni yellow shocks + eibach springs.

Check out the Trader "RaceNation" for Koni shocks, he can source some new Kings Springs for you too and give you a good deal on them.

i got my konis + eibachs from the US..
ordered them from traders on hondatech.. they came quickly..

although now that the dollar has dropped it might be more exp..
combined incl shipping i got both for around 1100 aud.. this was when the AUD was around 92 USD.

i suggest to shop around :)
