Just curious as the idea appeals,
what is the general opinion on the XForce titanium mufflers, are they really
that much lighter, are they lacking anything, is $270 reasonable for one and
are they suited to a D16A?
any help would b greate thanks....

just get a titanium tip muffler if u want looks.
they'll only make a difference in weight if u have a FULL titanium exhaust system.

titanium exhausts are far from rice. if he wants it to say its there i see no problem with it. but as i said earlier its better just to get the titanum tip, it will turn blue from the heat of the exhaust. ppl will think you've got the whole shebang anyhow.

yeh so then that is rice! if it has no practical merit, then it is not a performance mod, it is a ricer mod! if u want it purely for show instead of go then thats what it is. on the other hand, if it is a full titanium setup thats going for then that is going to benefit

but, saying that, rice is nice! i love rice i am not knocking it in any way!

:D

toycivic: thats cool man, i know what u mean.

old skool teg: i remember seeing the DRFT shop (in melb??) sell titanium tip exhausts for around 200-300 bucks. its in the Drift Battle/ HPI mags.

just because something looks good doesnt really mean rice..

like a nice set of wheels or a shift nob isnt really rice in my opinion..

rice im my opinion is neons, over the top wings, massive body kits with non functional parts like bonnet scoops, massive 4 inch cannon mufflers..

anyone know how much a Ti exhaust costs ?

TOny has Trust PE II I believe...
A Ti muffler will perform exactly the same exhaust function as a stainless version. The "gains" are in the the "weight reduction", as previously mentioned.
Having a Ti muffler on a non-Ti zorst setup would purely be for show. :)
Why spend an extra $XX for a blue tinge on your zorst tip? Use a texta... ;)
