EG series civic is only easy with the b series engine conversion. such as the B18c which is the type R or the B16a which is the VTIR. As i heard the price of B18c engine conversion is about 5k. K20a dont bother......

If you have the money, and really want to then by all means buy a k20 engine. Hasport make engine mounts that allow you to bolt the k20 strait in.

Firstly, putting a K20 into an EG is not as easy as changing the mounts. You will need new custom driveshafts too.

B18C is a much easier swap.

so with the b18C i use the eg mounts and driveshafts? what i dont understand is wouldnt it be easy jsut to use ITR computer and loom instead of joining into the eg one? if theres anything else i should know please tell me cheers.

you should have a deep pocket and be prepared to spend on alot of "unexpecteds"

u can use the EG mounts but
u need to use the drive shafts from the B18c

and the radiator, wiring harness,Ecu, etc etc

to make life easier on yourself get a halfcut. that way you will have all the parts required for the swap and less unexpected costs coming up. not to say they wont. and be sure to go somewhere that has done this before and has a good rep. you dont want someone learning how to do this swap on your car :(
