Hey, i installed a boost gauge over the weekend and it reads the boost perfectly fine but the needle never drops into the vacuum part.

I connected the hose up to the intake just before the intake manifold to see if that would work and it does with the reading of boost but not vacuum.
Does it matter where i get the air pressure reading from, or should it even be going into the vacuum part at all??

t piece it on a vacuum line after the throttle body (intake mani) if you want it to
read vacuum/boost.

Thats exactly right. Source must be after Throttle Body.
