single din DVD for euro

i've seen a few people on this forum with double din dvd players, and a couple with single din audio headunits.

just wondering if anyone has installed a single dvd dvd player (the type that motors out and tilts up) and whether it will fit? i.e. does it clear our chode volume button or does it smack into the bottom of the oem headunit?
