Hi there,
Today I've jus put a JDM dc5 4-2 header and a custom 2-1 section with high flow cat into my dc5r. Except the high flow cat, the 2-1 section is the same as the JDM 2-1 section. Still using the factory AUDM dc5r catback. Car drives bit different atm, rev seems a bit higher than before---2500 r /60k at 5th gear. Before around 2000 rs/ 60k
at 5th gear. Is that normal? How could i know if the fitting job has been done proper?
Cheers!Tommy
Sorry guys, there is an error on the title, suppose to be JDM 4-2 Section!

u loose a lot low end torque by using 4-1 unless u driving ur car always like on track keeping it at 4000-7000 all the time
otherwise 4-2-1 give u much better torque and still give u good output top end

That's why I put the 4-2-1 today. Original JDM 2-1 section is better or custom with high flow cat 2-1 is better??

it changing your header will not alter the speedo. The speedo will not recalibrate its self as it is mechanical. Although your actual speed may have incresed/decreased.

dude, JDM DC5 headers is 4-2-1. I'm using JDM 4-2 section with custom 2-1 section. I bought them from my mate. u might misunderstanding, i didn't mean about "rims", it should be the rev, lol. I'll refreash the my ecu, see how will it go. Anyway thanks for your respond!
it doesnt matter what size your rims have changed to or tyres for the speedo. The speedo will not recalibrate its self as it is mechanical. Although your actual speed may have incresed/decreased. Also Jdm is 4-1 header, also i beleive they are a one peice header so just wondering how you custom 4-2 section?

take it to an exhaust shop.
they can check if you have any leaks in your exhaust system.
the car is suppose to feel different with aftermarket mods.
is that what you're asking?
