Hi all,
I have had a few complaints about the former Ozhonda trader "Auto Concepts" (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=113). A few users have paid for items and not received them. I haven't got a response from the trader however one of the members has.
It appears something urgent has come up and the trader will reply to already submited queries in time.
If you have any issues / items not delivered after payment then please follow the instructions in this Announcement (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/announcement.php?f=113&a=4) and send an email to the address specified. I am not guranteeing anything however will keep complaints on file.
Note: This thread is NOT to have a got at the Trader but to inform you that I am aware of the situation. I will keep the thread open for any constructive feedback. If you have a complaint then follow the instructions and email me at the email address specified in the above link.
EDIT: I have also made an announcement in the traders forum pointing to this thread to get more coverage.

Thanks Wyn,
If I was a customer of this person, I'd seriously consider getting professional advice.

So,
I was having a think
Considering that this dude doesnt seem to be replying.
Why doesnt some naughty person set up a direct debit from his bank account
I mean, all the details you need are in his forum.
Maybe that will get his attention

What else do u need
Yeah you can't direct debit as an individual. You need to be a merchant that is sponsored by a bank to direct debit. Even if you had that arrangement it would be illegal to direct debit without authority.

now the big question
who is responsible if he dicides to piss off?
are we going to pursue legal action?
i guess i'm not the only one =\
i got in touch with the ACCC and got some advise and was told this for anyone who is interested:
The Fair Trading Act of Victoria is administered by Consumer Affairs Victoria. You may wish to record a complaint with them as Auto Concepts are located in that state.
Consumer Affairs Victoria will also be able to provide you with information about the Small Claims Tribunal (Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal). If you are unsuccessful in contacting Auto Concepts, and do not receive the bonnet or your money back, it may be necessary to lodge a claim in the Tribunal.

Wish I had seen this thread a couple of days ago.. I tried to PM Auto Concepts about a bonnet.. Few days later I get a reply off another account stating to be Auto Concepts.. A few PMs were exchanged but nothing after that.
Sorry guys BUT I have deleted the PMs so I cant give you the exact details of the account all I kno is it started off with 'teg'.
Hope anyone that has had trouble with this Business gets what they paid for or their money back.

Just to re-iterate that this thread is for me to post any developments on this trader. I urge all users affected to make an official complaint to the department of fair trading as well as the OH feedback email as outlined in this thread. (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/announcement.php?f=11&a=4)
c1v1c, you have PM.
Randa, please read the announcements (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11)in the Marketplace regarding on what to do before/after a sale to prevent this type of thing happening in the future.

Fair enough. This is one of the main reasons we now request an ABN from traders. So that members have an extra leg to stand on in case things go wrong.

Hi all,
Just a quick update. Seems this former trader has been browsing Ozhonda under another username which I have since banned. If you are still out of pocket however I suggest taking the appropriate legal steps. If that is the case I can provide whatever legal evidence is required.
It's sad to see this happen and this is exactly why an ABN is required....to keep any shonky users out. Has anyone got a response or their money back yet?
