G'day, I am interested upgrading the system behind the sat nav to include ipod, bluetooth and a better nav system. Any ideas?

That pioneer one looks like a beauty!
All in ones seem to be coming out in bulk now, so there should be quite a choice to choose from.

That Pioneer "All in One" looks really very nice indeed! I wonder what the price would be? Can you get a dash surround panel for the Euro so it would look like it came from the factory?

The dash panel seems to be the only problem, I have spoken to 2 installers, one said about $120 but it's not as good as standard, the colour doesn't match and it has knobs for the ac and other required buttons.
The other I spoke to didn't have any issues with the ft and finish but the trim was about $550.
I googled it and couldn't find any.
Are you trying to remove the stock headunit completely? Or just trying to install a whole new one on the centre console/compartment?

Yes, I'm looking at replacing the whole thing, there are units that can be plugged into the existing unit but you only have very limited control.
I have a iPod car kit installed, it works but when you try and rewind most of the time it skips to the previous track, there is no info provided on the screen or top screen.

There is a thread on here somewhere about a replacement dash surround trim for the Euro. I think it was bought from Ryda Car Radio. I juts haven't had the time to search for it. I recall that the guy who bought that sadi it was very good. Can anyone looking at this help out here?

No, thats the model just before mine, I have the M06 with the intergrated sat nav, in order to do what I want the unit has to be replaced but it has the AC control on the left hand side and some other buttons on the right of the screen.

So do you have a picture of this replacement fascia with buttons to integrate the existing buttons and so on?
Be interesting to see. But yeah, I only knew about the 05 and below model having a full replacement kit.

No, thats what seems to be the problem, I have 3 people looking into it. Ryda said they did one before but havent come back to me yet.
If I ever get to the bottom of it I will post where they come from. I cant be the only one surely.
