Depends on a range of factors including:
- car
- engine
- mods
- tuner
- cost
etc etc

If budget is not an issue, drop in a motec and be done with it.

Why motec when a kpro works fine on a DC5R?

If budget is no issue, get a Lamborgini Gallardo

the car is a DC5r
mods:
ARC Airbox
HKS Exhaust
Headers (unknown brand)
Engine Damper

tuner unknown depends on ECU either Kpro / power fc

How much does K-pro cost?

You can get a vi-pec v44 for about $1650. Check out the specs - www.vi-pec.com

PowerFC does not work with the K-series.

Does anyone have a vi-pec running in a DC5R or CL9 at the moment? I'm interested to see which functions are lost if the ECU controls a major part of the accessories and instruments.

Kpro is more than enough for your needs.

Apexi never made Power FC for DC5R.

HKS makes F-con V pro for the DC5R.

Just get a K-pro. It is adequate for nearly anyone wishing to tune their DC5.
