anyone know if its illegal in victoria to hav an external fuel pump,?

please explain a little further as to what u mean Re external

..if your just reffering to having a fuel pump used and mounted out side the petrol tank then yes u can as long as
. its wired correctly
.is also not with in the passanger compartment
.is not mounted in such a way to be exsposed to heat ie:- exhaust
.is securly mounted
.correct type and rated hoses and fittings are used

lasly id like to add.. ..
is there a real reson as to mounting it outside as there are a lot of after market pumps u can mount in the tank
in the oe postion and they also have a large number of higher pressure /flow pumps out there also..,,..

since i went from a carby model chassis eg.. and having a engine conversion to an efi motor yeh, fuel lines etc were changed as needed and external fuel pump was used and mounted securely underneath hiding inbetween a gap near tyre but not exhuast. ohh yeh im not sure why it was used outside.. possible because of its type some bosch one. makes a nice beeee hive buzzz lol
