in the process of sound deadending my whole boot, just finished the parcel shelf, and it works so well, but my rear window still keeps jumping out :( lol.
i used stinger rather than dynamat beacasue stinger is made by alpine and is alot thicker.
i am trying to do my boot roof, but i cant take off the lining, does any one know how?
i have unscrewed the 3 screws, its just the other screw things dont seem to want to come out and i dont want to break them.
cheers

them screws, i just used a flathead screwdriver and popped them out.....but yeah broke like a few. LOL. Though dad had a few spares lying around so i just used them, i think you can buy them from local shops like SuperCheap/Autobarn/Repco or even bunnings.

theres a lot of clips you need to undo. All of them are in very obvious places. Then you have the 2 rubber strips. Just undo it and slide it off. Hard to explain, but its very straight forward to do.

The "BUZZ" could possibly be the two cross rail / tension springs that move when the boot opens and closes. I get a buzz in mine also, I think it is the clip in the middle, I need to wrap some tape / foam to suppress the rattle / buzz. Let me know how you go...

i had a buzz on my parcl shelf from the rear brake light that sits in the parcel shelf, but i filled it in with stinger and that stops,
im not quite sure what u mean by the springs, does ur boot just fling up?
mine used to just pop open and sit slightly open, now wen i had my sub in there in flings straight up

I was about to start a thread about installing dynamat in the boot but voila.... Here it is..
Has anyone done the whole boot? Any significant improvement compared to stock?
