Hey,

Anybody got a copy of the 98 EK service manual and can scan me the page with the distributor connector pinout?

If the information is already on this forum or elsewhere on the web a link would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Nick.

The pin-outs for the 7 pin connector unique to the Aus. Gli. distributor.

all of them, I wish to do an ODB1 conversion.

If you go OBDI you cant use that GLi dizzy, scrap it and get an OBDI dizzy, then the OBDI ECU will be happy

GLi Dizzy is totaly different to the normal type of dizzy honda's use, optical pulse v magnetic pulse.

Hey Raztaz,

Thanks for the offer. Is there a mention of a D16Y4 engine in the front of the manual?

My copy (USDM, 92-95 model) doesn't mention any non-US models.

Yep, no arguments.

The plugs are completely different.

odb1 11 pin, 98 GLi 7 pin, ODB2a 9 pin.

But I figure it's easier to use the existing harness than running all new wires.

PM edgeauto

he does a convertion harness for the CXi to OBDI, with the extra wires you need for the injectors and dizzy

CXi uses 2 chanel for the injectors, 2 injectors banked together, there all other OBDII and OBDI has a chanel for each injector.

you still have to run wires when you use the exsisting harness, just not as many
