try sourcing an ek9 steering wheel instead..
it'll be a bolt on.. and i believe the airbags will still work

you'll have to buy the EK9 wheel, the air bags do also work, same SRS system

ive been tryin to source some recently n all ive seen is 450 to 500, too expensive IMO.

the reason they are so dear is because they are part of your adr rules safety features of your car
u cannot run without one
and also honda charge 1200 just for the air bag module on your steering wheel
thats why people can sell for 500 second hand

i'm having trouble picking between the s2k and ek9 wheel. Could someone who has them in their Civic post up a pic please. Also i read somewhere about dual/single stage airbag, since theres a few different style s2k wheel i dont know which year will suit my '00 civic.

my bud down the road put in a ap1 s2000 wheel and it fitted just fine :)
not my style but it looks the goods, I'd go with a ctr or euro-r wheel, just looks nicer :) there's some pics on hondatech and clubcivic, cant find them tho, been ages since I found a pic of someones

indeed :) bit different in terms of where your thumbs go, slightly higher on mine from a ctr wheel, same diameter tho when compared to a mates ctr

I know of another forsale if keen, could import it for you (another euro-r that is)

hmm thanks guys, but im not really feelin the gold H. Seems abit asian for me and it doesnt match the red/black theme im after. I would love the CTR steering wheel but its hard to come by and dear imo...
