Hey guys i want to covert my 97 EK civic hatch with Rear drum set up to rear disc brake setup and upgrade my front rotors and calipers with some bigger better items as i my is turbo charged and before i build the motor i want to be able to stop :p
what will i need, what is the best path to take what will fit? obiviously i want the best cheapest option and if it can be all bolt in or with minimal modifications that would be great.
also i want to to put in a cluster with a tacho now mine dosent have a tacho atm so if i just buy a cluster will everything still work and the tacho or is wiring and that needed?
Thanks guys
Regards Ryan

seeing as how ek9 werent brought into australia it will be difficult to find them
id look for a dc2r setup.
if you can find someone wrecking one you can grab everything you need
master cylinder, prop valve, front hubs+knuckles, rear trailings arms+hubs, handbrake cables

itr brake setup for the win. add some good pads and you won't have trouble stopping or passing engineers to comply your turbo build.

The car is currently engieneered for everything on it turbo etc, but in the quest for more power i want to make sure that the braking system is better matched to the larger power output.
is it true that the EK9 and Dc2R have the same brake caliper size and rotor size? and do the Dc2R have 114.3 pattern
Thanks

i know ek9 and dc2r share the 5x114.3 stud pattern, but im not sure on the caliper and rotor sizes.
it would make sense for them to be the same.
have a google, see what turns up

rotors both are 282mm and calipers are the same.
