Anyone know the part number of the ignitor/ignition control module in the D16Y4 GLi/CXi EK civic.

A Bosch/NEC/Hitachi number would be great.

Been there.

They have Honda Part numbers only.

They also said the ignitor is not available. Have to buy a whole dizzy.

I'm after the Bosch/Hitachi number or whoever actually make the ignitor.

Honda part number is either
30100-PP2-004 or 30100-PC2-004.

TEC distributor.

I think I wrote it down incorrectly. I belong in 3rd grade by my writing.

A TD-80U does not fit.
It bolts up, but the electrical connector is different.

Any comments?

Nick.

These Hitachi D4T94-05 dizzies look like the connector is right.

This hitachi pizzy claims to use the same part number but is clear different.

what code is on the housing of your distributor?

If you wanna look up all the different codes with pictures of the appropriate housings/plugs go to www.distributorking.com. i've been lookin for a new TD81U distributor for my b16 | OBD2 engine and these were the only place that were able to show me correct pictures/part numbers etc.

Even if you're not going to buy from there, you may be able to match up pics to help you along the way.

I believe so.

Sourcing the correct new parts without paying a arm and a leg is an issue.

Yes, I'm aware of these guys.
Any body want to comment on the quality?

The Aus. GLi/CXi spec dizzy has a unique ignitor. The connector, ignitor and optical trigger are all integrated in the one case.

This means its not bolt in compatible with anything else.

Distributor king quality seems to be ok. I'm buying from them right now.

Couldn't find any identification on dizzy.

I have a Hitachi HT04 / D4T94-05 (Distributor King) in my hands and it looks perfect.

Will fit it tonight under the moon light with a gentle breeze blowing....

awwww... what a romantic Friday night....... not.
