Q1. Can i use tie rod end from eg sedan for an ek?
are the tie rod end for eg & ek interchangeable?

thanks.

Q2. What is stock tyre size for eg?
Ans. 175/65/14 82H, found on driver side door jamb. thanks vinny
i want to get aftermarket rims+tyres and be as accurate as possible to
stock cluster reading.

the closest one for 15x7" rims is 215/45/15. at 100kmph on cluster, you're actually moving at 98.33kmph
------------------ 16x7" ------ 215/40/16. at 100kmph on cluster, you're actually moving at 99.09kmph

Q3. Can i use EG upper arm as EK upper arm?
Ans. eg upper arm != ek upper arm. thanks benjamin, vinny
need another upper arm because the ball joint boot was torn.
the whole upper arm needs to be replaced if one needs to replace the ball joint.
its possible to just replace the rubber boot, but its too complicated. much easier to just replace the whole arm.

nope, different
ek is symmetrical
i believe eg/dc is slightly offset hence when you can swap left and right upper control arms around to alter the castor angle

NO

they are totally different fitment. Not compatible at all.

EK = EJ8 = EM1 ......they are SIDE mounted to the chassis.Secured by a 14mm headed BOLT.

And

All EG civics share te same front uper control arm as DC integras.
They are TOP mounted , secured by a 17mm nut.
