Is the VTi-R cat back exhaust a direct bolt on onto the GSi?

I dont see why a cat back wouldn't

if we were talking about extractors etc that's when you start having problems

Apparently ITR and GSi are interchangeable, but not the VTi-R.
The B-pipe for the VTi-R for some reason was a tad longer (an inch or so).

if its only an inch or so wldnt it be simple to modify slightly to fit?

so a full exhaust system from a dc2r would be a straight fit to a dc4??:confused:

gw quoted headers wont.

That doesn't make sense, since ITR catback is straight bolt-on to a VTIR. (many people put ITR carbacks onto their DC2 VTIR's without modification).

Would the cat make a difference or they all the same length?

not my car, but they tried to modify it to fit, but doesnt fit properly, hanging too low and sounds terrible.. so taking it back off.
i found a few US sites that sort of explain the same problem.

GSR = VTi-R
GS/LS = GSi
