Hey guys,

Just need a bit of help and advice again,
I've purchased a set of ADVAN RG's wheels (4x 17/45/8.5 offset 31) for my S2000 then took it to Pedders suspension wanting to fit +roll guard+ adjust coilover height & camber. But they did a very poor job, not willing to spend time on it, all they said was the rims have a wrong offset and told me to re-sell it out:thumbdwn:.
The rims are sticking out 2inchs from the guard now leaving 1 inch clearance from the tire to the guard, so when ever i go past a big hump the gaurds will grind my tires.
Before i brought the Advan's I already knew 31+ is the wrong offset :obut i've searched and seen pics of s2000's from s2ki with similar offsets that fit so i was hoping it to happen with my S2000 too, i guess it's a big job+$$ and might not be worth it but i mean we are all car lovers so shouldn't give up so easy!!!

* do i need to flare my guards or can it just be rolled?
* where can i get a good job done in sydney? ( roll or flare + adjust height& camber)

P.S- i've serched the FAQ thread but couldn't find the information i need!!!
Thanks,

vyets

What size tyres are you running?

What is 17/45/8.5? rofl sorry man but that just dosen't make sense. Guessing 17x8.5" rim with 45 profile tyre? But what about the width?

You will have a pretty hard time fitting the fronts, you will defiantly need to flare them out, as for the rears you will need to run alot of camber maybe about -4ish, with rolled guards and shaved rear bumper with relocated rear bumper clip. Or you can run thinner tyres and prob run abit less rear camber but you will still need the roll and cut. You might even have to flare out the rear guards :(

Mate I run +43 and it was hard to get those to fit, and still maintain driveability. You will need camber kits to increase the camber you wont be able to dial in enough out of stock adjustments. You will need a roll, and cut rear fenders Id reckon. And then a flare, or guard pull.

8.5 with +31??? i dont think you can fit this offset to OEM fender, essentially you need flared fenders, i suppose

Definately won't fit. You will need to flare you fender (which looks like crap IMO) or you will need to buy some wide fenders.

Just sell the wheels and get something less aggressive, you won't be able to do any sort of spirited driving without it busting your fenders and in the process making them look like crap.

you are going to be struggling with +31 wheels even if u roll, flare, -camber, stretch tyres etc, only chance is to put on over fenders

did you get these through nz tardme by any chance lol?
