Rust on Sunroof

Hi,

Open the the sunroof and started to see some rust bubbles forming on the steel frame that supports the glass.

Just wondering what are my options to remove the rust?

Would it be better to just replace the sunroof or could a panel beater potentially repair the rust? Just not too sure whether the latter option is achievable?

Maybe you can DIY!?

Remove the sunroof, do a bit of sanding, then prime and paint?

depending on what car it is, i think get a price from the wreckers and get a price to fix the sunroof, and i guess with ever one works out cheaper is the way to go. who knows u might find the same colour at the wrecks so no need for nothing but replacing
