HELP Issue with Sunroof...

Hey Guys I left my sunroof open while raining and now when i try and open or close it, there a clanging noise to it like it not gripping the teeth of the motor... any ideas?

i dunno if that was being smart or not, buyt Bludgers post was right

id say water got into the mechanism, and if you wanna have a go at pulling it apart yourself go for it, if you dont feel confident, take it to an auto electritian, or mechanic, or someone who specilaises in installing sun roofs

You can try applying grease (where I think its abit too late. the gears must have ran out of track causing the inability to close the sunroof properly. like everyone said, bring it to auto electricitian or mechanic to do it for you. don't do anything foolish...cos your car will be an open drain if it doesnt close back again :P
