hi,

Im wondering if Honda civic Ek4 4x100 brake disc fit on the Honda jazz GE8 brake disc. given to similar diameter or upsize by few mm

or it would be totally different set up

not 100% but i'd say it won't fit

going off the dba website;

spec for jazz gli 10/02 - on;
diameter; 240mm
height; 39mm
thickness; 21mm
min. thickness; 19mm
center hole; 61mm

spec for ek4/em1;
diameter; 262mm
height; 45mm
thickness; 21mm
min. thickness; 19mm
centerhole; 64mm

GLi is 1.3 ... is different brake then the VTI/Vti-s which 1.5

if not mistaken the 1.5 was 250 cant remember ... lol

well the info is there, find the exact specs of your ge8's rotors and match it up with the info on the dba website
only quoted the gli because the dba site doesn't seem to have any other models for the jazz

it will NOT suit or fit , without major modification.


If you are looking to upgrade your braking power , look at aftermarket front brake pads.

no lol. but if the 4x100 disc is different dimensions in any way , it will NOT suit the desired application. Caliper /pistons wont suit , pads wont suit , wheel offset etc etc.

heeeeeeemm....
coz some1 did Ek brake disc to GE.. bolt on with out dramas.. but that is in singapore.

ben, would few mm disc say 5-10mm dia upgrade possible on stock callipers? given its the right disc applications for the car

I dont think its "bolt on". that sing guy would of machined to a degree.its up to you to find out if there is sufficient clearance on the inside of the caliper for it to fit.

i'd hazard a guess that even if you tried to whack on a ek4 rotor you won't be able to bolt on the caliper without making a new custom bracket to space it our further

yeah thats what im affraid of lol.. not being able to put the caliper back in.
