Hey just after some information in modifying the d15b for power. Could much gains be made on a $1000 budget does any1 have any suggestions tips or anything to add please let me know thanks

Go find a cheap D16a

it is the carby one bout 100hp just finish rebuilding it. No one have any tips or have made any power out of one of these?

not all d15b are carby are they? d15b7 is gli is it not?

yeh only the d15b4 is dual cv carbs, not the same carb as the breeze...
Any way to get any decent power gains you have to go to efi, slap the d16y1 or d16y8 head on and that should see you up close to 130hp, then you can slap a nice cam in for 10ish more, comp cams make a good one.. see weq's post.

Or with the efi you have the option of going down the turbo road.

think this is the same engine i've got.

i drive a VEi, v-tec economy engine, EFI.

Or any other d series efi head, plus everything else that is needed obviously...

Vei, d15b series,
1493cc (obviously)
~89hp @ 5500rpm
129NM @4500rpm

but crazy fuel economy I hear?
