Anyone here running 215/45/16 on their dc2r? would like to know if it actually rub against the guard... would prefer to get the 215/45/16 instead of the 205/45/16...

I am running that size with JDM 16 inch rims and there is no rubbing whatsoever! Also the car looks, handles and rides much better then 205/45/16. The only problem is this size is not very common and most tyre shops dont stock them, therefore making these size tyres pretty expensive.

i used to run 215/50/16 on front and 225/45/16 on rear. Keeping in mind that I have stock dc2r suspension there was no rubbing at all.....

I think Tom (IEVAQ8) runs 215/45/16 on his dc2r without any dramas....

215/45/R16 is OEM 98 spec tyre size, any scrubbing means your dc2r is dumped too low and is all show no go:p

I run 215/45/16 with RE55's and all my guards are rolled... my car is low and I'm pretty sure its quicker then yours :p

looking good, i didnt need to roll the guards heavily, a slightly higher offset wheel would have eradicated the need for it, but lower offsets always look better IMO!
