just want to know which is better for performance not noise
i go the stock em1 exhuast

- Stock type R headers off the dc2R
- Aftermarket headers.
??????????????????????
which is better 4-1 or 4-2-1?
btw this is for my em1
not looking to spend to much

bang for buck JDM 4-1 itr headers. about $500-700 depending on condition.
Perfect fit, no messing around.

Don't even bother with the AU spec ITR headers, nominal difference to the b16a ones

Most aftermarket headers will out perform the JDM ITR headers.

For that price range i would pay a little more and get 5zigens.

wanna bet? i've had a few an not all do. Only the higher end ones and he wants to be tight

Toda are good if you have the cash, good results

go the ITR JDM goodness tho :D

toda or Mugen is really good, but the price tag is the bad news. 5Zigen is nice too, I'm using it.
4-2-1 if you want midrange gain, 4-1 if you want top end gain and more torque and hp

Xforce headers aren't bad , good value for money

from experience, X-force header is good for D-series.

but for B-series, most will crack overtime for some reason.

I got X force headers 4-2-1 on my GSI integra for 6 months still good no problem ! anyway you have 5 year warranty on them

not sure about B-series non VTEC, but B16A and B18C after 2-3 years and then you'll need a change
