I want to put a ITR ecu into my vti-r but i am not sure whether can fit in or not.Does anyone knows 2000 ITR obd2a ecu is compactible with 1998 integra vti-r?? cheers

your 98 VTIR should be OBDIIa, so yes it will fitm if the ITR ECU is from Australia or US then it will have an immobiliser and wont run

lol... VTi-R is obd1 isnt it? if so ull need a conversion harness... and whats the point of it all? so u can revv ur motor to 9k and blow it? lol the tune will be out as the two motors are different

The stock ECU for DC2R has immobiliser in there. So if you don't have the key that contain the chip, you won't be able to start the car because the fuel is cut due to the immobiliser not sensing the chip.

no they are not all OBDI

96 and above vtir are all obd2a
i got 96 teg vtir and its obd2a
it will run if you bypass the imo couple min job thats the aus spec ecu and jap spec dont need to bypass it.. but i wudnt run the itr ecu diff settings
