Wanting to know if a set of 14x6 +33 wheels would be alright on EK4 civic.

The spoke shape is slightly further outward, but flush with the hub mounting so it 'should' clear the brakes, but i'm just a little worried about protruding out past the guards.

From my understanding the less positive offset (from standard) will have the wheel sit further away/outward of the shocks, correct?

Possible premature wheel bearing failure?

Any info or experience greatly appreciated, thanks.

i think it will fit... 6 inch is thin... so +33 wont come out that much...

It will be well within the guards. I have run 15x7 +33 and that fits inside fine, so the 6in wide wheel will work. You may need a slight guard roll depending on your tire size

Might have to get some lower profile tyres and get a tiny bit of stretch happening.

Thanks guys ;)

thats piece of cake fitment shannon, will have no troubles even without lipping the guards

and yes the lower the offset, the more strain it puts on all of the components the wheel is mounted to, premature failure of bearings / studs etc is definatly a reality, due to the greater leverage affect created

I heart the SSS

Yeah my mrs (Kath) Ran a 15x6.5 +32 offset and was fine, just on hard U turns it scrubbed a bit.

Go for it!

i reackon u will hit the caliper with that offset or come real close
depending on the design

Yeah the brakes are the only real thing i'm worried about... Might have to see if i can manage a test fit.

Thanks guys.
