well, playing around with the height on my tein superstreet coilovers today,

I turned the two plates which hold up the springs all the way down to the bottom on the fronts, theres a 2 finger gap on the front,
The rears are about half way with plently of height adjustment left and leaves a barely 1 finger gap.

so my question: is this normal on the tein ss, the rears can be dumped as there is plently more left, but the fronts seem like it cant, since lowest leaves a 2 finger gap.

edit: This is on an EK hatch
btw, have searched google, hondatech, ozhonda cant find anything to answer my question,

just realised, im using oem upper mounts which may make it higher?
but even so, such difference rear to fronts in height adjustability?

Yeah thats normal for these coils, tein SS is a very street friendly coilover for both height adjustment and damper , Im running them and what Ive done is removed one of the adjustable plates at the front making the front another 10mm lower and the rear is a nice height also. Looks alot more even front to back.

EK hatch, with oem control arms up front also

.. did not say anything about cutting, there are 2 washers at the bottom of the spring which you screw up or down to adjust height , take one out simply lowers it that much more

would it be bad if I removed both marko?

you cant remove both as the spring sits on these, hence why I said they are height adjusters, you have none of these on then you will have no coilover, you will have a expensive shocky with damper and your spring will be on the ground.

if you dont know what im talking about you obviously didnt install / adjust your coilovers ever? Once you worked on it there is no way you can mistake what Im on about

maybe its best of getting a person who knows what they are doing before you start going off and trying it yourself:thumbsup:
