hey guys. frend of a frend has an eg civic
asked if its possible to fit a dc2 vtir steering wheel on it.

im not sure if the eg has an airbag alredy, which is my next question, is it possible to fit a dc2 vtir steering wheel with airbag on an standard eg which doesnt have an air bag?

im guessing its possible but the airbag wont work? or is it totally illegal.
correct me if im wrong as i know nothing about this.

It's illegal to remove a steering wheel with air bag. You'd be farked all over by insurance etc.

i thought it was ok to remove the steering wheel with an airbag as long as you replace them with another steering wheel with working airbag?

best if u get a workshop to do it if you don't have a clue.. not good to have the airbag popping in yr face
