Has any one's car been in an accident then been repaired by the insurance company only to have Honda not reinstate the fully warranty on the car?

from my understanding if a new honda (under warranty) is smashed it must be repaired by an authorised honda dealer so they can be 100% certain that the car has been repaired with genuine honda parts otherwise warranty is voided.

it depends what the damage is
if the car was written off how could you expect them to reinstate the warranty?

lol i think Panda was refering to a repairable write off, not a complete write off.

My Euro had some frontal damage which will cost about $8000 to fix, which thankfully is covered by insurance. The insurance company, AAMI, says that because the car is new they will use only new genuine honda parts and that the repairs are covered by a lifetime warranty. My Honda dealer is prepared to give my car a complete inspection to verify new genuine Honda parts were used and that the work performed is completed to factory like workmenship.
I'll clarify my question. I was interested in whether someone has actually had a problem with a car after an accident repair only to have both Honda and the insurance company disagree as to who is liable to fix that particular problem.

Thankyou, I've spoken to Honda already. But I am asking whether anyone has been in a situation after a repair where both Honda and the repairer were disputing who should actually fix a particular problem under warranty.
I am looking for real life experiences not hypotheticals.

Why not ask here? What is wrong with asking people to draw upon their past experiences so that firstly I can get an answer for a concern I am raising and secondly that others may have these answers to draw upon in the future?

if your vehicle has had severe front end damage i dont see why any of the affected area would be covered under warranty.
there would only be the workmanship warranty of the repairer and a one year warranty on the parts.
your best bet is to speak to honda directly to see what they will and wont cover and why
the same goes for your insurance company

The response from Honda was that any genuine parts (installed by the repairer) will continue to be covered by any remaining Honda warranty.
The only thing that wont be covered will be faulty workmanship or faulty workmanship that leads to the failing a part.
It will be interesting to see down the track that if an issue arises just who will keep their word.
