Navigation upgrades

G'day, I am currently running version 12 in my Euro Luxury M06, I rang the number on the original disk case (where is), they said ring honda and gave me the number, rang that and they said go to your dealer. Rang them and they said version 15 is the latest and then said its out of stock and Honda is only showing version 14 in stock, he then said ring back in a few months. $500 for the upgrade.
Has anyone seen version 15? Would anyone be kind enough to burn me a copy of even version 14?

I think $500 for a upgrade is highway robbery, you can buy a navman for $200.

Honda = $3k nav unit, and $500 for disc. :thumbdwn:

Maybe but charging $500 for a disc is a rip off.I don't think you can copy them anyway.

what sh-ts me it doesn't even have speed camera and school zone alerts, if they added features I wouldn't feel so ripped off.

I can't say too much as I couldn't possibly know for sure if you follow my drift but let's just say hyperthetically I may have known someone who did a group burn for a bunch of people on a Forum hyperthetically like this one and they all shared the cost. This person said the burning of the disc was hyperthetically no problem at all and the copies all hyperthetically worked fine.

Where Is are made by Honda to add allthe Honda Servicing Locations and that makes Honda's disc unique to Honda and hence Honda charges it's own price. Honda also has Where Is disable speed camera and red light camera and School Zones for theri copies.

I wrote to Honda saying that NSW Police for example approve the use of Speed, Red Light and School zone data in GPS systems so why would Honda want to disable it and got a pathetic reply which in NO way answered the question.

I was one of the people who got one of these imaginary copies and i can assure you that it does not work fine. Sometimes it works for a while then it shuts down and says that it is improper disc please return to the dealer.....I gave up using it in the end BTW The person who done this has not appeared on this imaginary forum since lol

You are the only person that I'm aware of that had a problem with that hyperthetical disc. If I hyperthetically had one it hyperthetically works perfectly every time and never freezes etc. It hyperhtetically has all the V14data (that Honda) allows on it and available at all times.

I am happy for you that your hypothetical disc works i can only state the facts as they pertain to me. Like i said it will work for a few hours then shut down, tried it 3 times and eventually got the shits with it, but good luck to anybody who has a good hypothetical copy ;)
