Hey
I just want to know which engine should i go for? im abit of a noob. The goal is trying to get the car N/A in 12-13s. Is better to go the b18c2 or b18c7? Explain? I know b18c7 has more power but it has same displacement as b18c2.

what sort of work do you plan on doing to it?

if you're thinking of changing the cam and altering the compression you might be better of starting with the C2.

I know toda do engine packages and it doesn't matter whether you start with a c2 or a c7. at the end of the day theres that much work being done that the extra money for the stock C7 isn't worth wasting.

12 seconds in a n/a b18 is pretty hard.
street trim k20/k24 swaps do low 13s and high mid 12s

yonas from jdmyard managed to do high 11s with stripped interior and drag slicks. and hell lotta skills.

b18c7 is way better than the c2.
id think a 12s b18 wont be street drivable.
i know someone is going to prove me wrong.

if you want to get low 1/4 times. go turbo.
a 12s turbo can be responsive, quick and drivable.

like jason said........

if u plan on doing full re-build and all new aftermarket gear, it dont matter and would be best for ur pocket to start with a cheaper c2.......
