Yeah should be fine. Families seem to do it all the time?

Why is there even a limit? If you can pay the premium why do they care?

there isn't a problem, in terms of insuring or even owning many cars at once, in terms of selling cars i know that each state has their limitations no privately owned vehicles. My husband and i own 3 cars under the same name and they are all insured and registersed.

that would be a new one. i dont see any reason why a limit would be imposed to how many cars anyone can own or insure?

definitely 2 cars wouldnt be an issue at all in answer to your question...

hang on mate, having insurance for the third car the conditions change on the third car they usually limited the third car to drivers over 25 if it is insured under just your parents name, however you can always take out a policy with joint names with your parents and you, its a little extra and no where near as much as taking a policy out with just your name. This is with aami insurance, I had this problem as well.

Also ring them they usually give you a better price over the phone then on the automated internet quotation thing.

maybe you should just insure it under your name? At least that way you get a better rating sooner. I'm only 22 and i'm almost rating 1 for life. Have had my cars registered an insuring under my name since i was 17. no accidents/traffic violations at all.
