Hi all,

Here in NZ the 09 Accord Euro comes with a standard alarm and immobilizer. This however doesn't have a interior or break glass sensor so I'm trying to get it upgraded with one that uses the standard remote key (don't want to have to deal with an additional fob and want it to work in conjunction with the existing central locking functionality..

My first choice was a Dynatron D4800 but the installer couldn't find wiring for the Accord as it's so new
Instead I had a Cobra AK4908 installed which is CAN-BUS attached. However this doesn't seem to be playing nicely with the central locking functionality (won't re-arm when the doors auto lock after 30 seconds).

Can anyone suggest an alarm upgrade that meets UK Thatcham Cat 1 alarm standards and can be installed into the 09 Accord (CU2)... and preferably is available in NZ :)

Thanks

Pretty much any alarm that can trigger off the door actuator lock signal will work...

Even with the auto lock after 30secs of not opening a door, the car is still sending a 12v signal to the actuators...

I have an aftermarket battery backup siren fitter to my 03 CL9 euro, works when ever the doors lock or unlock (one beep for unlock, two for lock)...

The wiring should be very similar in both the CL9 and CU2 door actuator wise, its the kinda thing that doesnt change lol
