Well here it is, after a long time searching for a honda in QLD i've ended up with a 1996 honda civic vti :D
stock as a rock but hoping to do little things to it
- front grill
- painting side/back skirts
- and maybe a front lip
low on cash atm haha.
And does anybody know if it's possible to remove the spoiler XD?
I like the clean sleek look without it...
here are some pics

And another question how much would it cost to paint the black strips on the car, I think it's called colour coding?
Cheers guys

Paint the strips yourself!
I did it, doesnt look 100% professional but it looks really good and you wont notice unless you get really close.......
Just need to go to autobarn, tell them your coulour code and they will match up some paint for you........ Then get a can of clear top coat to spray over the top and it will look almost professional........
If you go to a panel beater or something they will charge you a couple hundred or so maybe? Not too sure...........
But if your tight on cash the spray cans are only going to cost you about $40

Yeah, it shouldn't be too difficult. I think you need to put a brake light on the parcel shelf to make up for the one removed with the spoiler. Have a search around the net for a workshop manual to make it really simple, or just pop the boot and take off any lining there is to expose the screws/nuts.

tayl51601 did you take them off to paint or..? and did you paint the back part where the number plate sits?

I just put newspaper all around them, stuck the newspaper to the car with some masking tape so that only the strips were showing then gave them a spray............
This is the best picture i got atm, it was taken last night lol
