Hey guys, after a brief but thorough search i was unable to find specific information regarding my dilemma.

I have a 98' dc2. Which is pretty stock but relatively slammed with D2 coilovers. Instead of settling for the appropriate setup such as 16x7 +(30-40) offset wheels, I'm considering purchasing 15x8 Sportmax Wheels that Jdmyard stocks.

However they only come in 15/0 Offsets. I've seen them on Ef's and Eg's, and they look intense as chocolate fudge cake!@$@ Anyways, i have not yet seen them on a dc2, sooo im kinda keen and damn excited about how they will look on my car.
Anyhow, I just figured i should ask people with experience before i go ahead and make an impulsive decision buying them, not wanting to get myself in deep sh*t.

Please don't flame me or anything, im just an innocent little boy who wants my car to look pimp. Thanks in advance guys!
Regards, erik

well if you wanna get rims like that, you will definetly need to roll your gaurds, buy a camber kit so you can add massive negative camber and either stretched tyres like narrower tyres onto the wider rims or very very low profile tyres so they wont scrub or hit at all.

if you are going to go the the sportmax the only way it will look good (well with the 0 offset) is to:

1. Get camber kits all around and max them out.
2. At least roll all your guards
3. run very low profile and undersized tyres so that they are stretched
4. absolutely slam the car so its tucking (since you are on lower profile tyres as well your car will be insanely low)

If you do it, do it right.
1) buy the right profile tyres,
2) slam car,
3) camber kit,
4) roll guards
And you'll get something that looks like this;

Wow! thanks for the responses. Much appreciated.

Jesus Christ Q_Ball, despite the exterior condition of that dc2, the wheels make it look like sex.

Well i guess at the end of the day, if i decide to buy these I'm going to have to prepare myself for crucial side costs such as the camber kits, guard rolling etc. as you guys have mentioned.

Just out of further curiosity, would you have any idea what tyre profile and size that red dc2 is running Q_Ball. It would be of great assistance since that car looks like it can actually full lock and drive sensibly.
I must say, those picture have truly inspired me now. I'm definitely going for this look!

Btw, I've seen Lukey's thread once before regarding the Sportmax fitment.
Also, I just tried to do a search again and found all threads created by Lukey, but was unable to find which thread it was. Help me anyone? lol

Lukey's build thread has been deleted. Here is what his car looks like:

Lukey's car needed a change in tyre profile, drop and camber.

Oh my goodness, those rims are phat. I now see and understand why camber and tyre profile plays such a critical role in pulling this off.
