DC5 Performance Mods Help????

Thinking about doin some performance mods on my dc5. The car is stock atm
Any ideas on mods for performance. Price round is about 4 to 5 grand.

But basically... decide what you want out of the car... susspension or power... and then start researching into those.

Personally, i would go some type of coilovers, front and rear sway bars, and then some nice 17's with 40ish offset.

Then worry about engine when you can do it all in one big hit (Intake, headers, exhuast & ECU)

so how much power you guys gettin with ya mods, i cant go over 200kw with p plater laws, but i want to maybe go for around 180-190, i spose this is possible but i would have to spend up big right??

with intake, headers, exhaust and a ecu. its hard to say.
you wont get anywhere near the 180 mark thats for sure. ull have to spend way over 10g for that. dc5r id say ull get between 120-130. but this will very heaps depending on what brands u get and who tunes your car.

You should be able to get the following on your budget
Lightweight Flywheel & Sports Organic clutch kit - fitted
Injen CAI - fitted
Mugen sports suspension kit - fitted

4-5 grand is good enough to cover I/H/E......and then save up for coilovers after.....just do brake upgrade too...with some good pads....you will be ok....
Sth like mugen intake plus Mugen, FGK exhuast will be around 3k mark and Header is about 1200.....good brake pad is about 300 bux for front only and leave the rest for labour cost.......
