the cl9 has it too.

For auto, if in neutral, the car has a 2nd rev cut at 4500rpm (i think)

And for manual, if clutched in, or in neutral with the clutch out, same goes. rev cut at 4500 rpm.

I think its more of a rev protection, rather than launch control.
Nonetheless. Beautiful feature.

there is no way you could get any decent launch at 4500rpm!
not to mention the fact your clutch would be destroyed.

it's not launch control as it commonly known but in its own way, it's a 'launch control' in an opposite way: It''s designed to stop you hoons from side-stepping the clutch at high revs.

Haha, yeah I agree not too good for the clutch, but still. 2.2 60ft in a Euro, so you can get good launch with 4500rpm.

Still the wheels are chirping and the revs dropping so the clutch grabs harder and quicker than it probably seems

on an N/A car your optimum launch rpm is usually halfway between max torque and max hp... so 4500rpm is probably still a little low lol

but yes, high reving with the clutch in will wear it quicker, but so will dragging the euro lol so it doesnt really matter...

leon guessing thats your car? i soooooo need to come drag my girl
