and at the bottom of it there is a hose im not sure where it connects to

the big black cylinder looking thing behind the blue/grey cylinder looking thing sticking out of your block and under the smaller black cylinder looking thing with a big hose and banjo bolt sticking into it?

jokes aside, i assume you're talking about the charcoal canister located on the firewall just under the intake manifold(assuming your profile is right, ek sedan)
your fuel pump is located inside the petrol tank itself under your rear passenger seats

yes im talkin about the black one. somehow the hose snap under neath and cannot locate it

is fuel pissin out everywhere when you prime the pump? if not, its not your fuel filter. It friggin goes everywhere too when theres a leak. trust me on that one.

Sounds like the charcoal canister to me as well.
