Hi guys i am trying to wire in a Apexi RSM into his honda civic and after folllowing what i thought was the wiring diagram i could only get it to display battery voltage and power up no RPM etc
dose anyone have a ecu pin out for the car or has wired one in before and can help me solve this problem?
its a 96 D16Y4 EK civic

on the ECU B connector ( the smaller one ) with the release tab facing upwards looking at the back where the wires enter the connector
Pin 1 is top left pin 11 is top right
Pin 12 bottom left Pin 22 bottom right
Pin 2 is VSS blu/wht
pin 15 is Ignition return ( tacho ) blu

Thanks i dont know the pin out for the ECU and i need to get
Power
Ground
RPM signal
Speed signal
do you know what pin / colour these wires are ?

for power and ground, you might want to tap into your cigarette lighter
pretty much same thing as using ignition wire as cigarette lighter powers up when you turn engine on

thanks i got it powering up now, but no rpm or speed singal etc dispalys battery voltage though :P

ok hokked it all up RPM is sweet just have to take it for a drive tomorrow make sure the speed is working thanks so much your a life saver ECU-MAN
