Going off the trip computer, the worst I have ever got to would be high 600 k mark. That is with mostly city driving. On a freeway run, it was over 900. Mine is a manual luxury navi.

The variance between highway and city is huge, I get around 7.4L (calculated not using the silly computer which is about 5% out) for all highway driving including slow roadworks, so could be better, but city driving its around 10.9...and feels slow as...bloody autos

I keep a spreadsheet on fuel consumption, my readings to date are

738km - 55.79L - 7.56L/100

842km - 63.49L - 7.54L/100

784km - 54.59L - 6.96L/100

814km - 58.71L - 7.21L/100

That gives an average to date of 7.32L/100, The trip meter tells me i have an average of 7.1, so it is fractionally out by 0.22 L/100km, not enough to worry about.

got my new cu2 yest and today already hit 108km!!! XD but the fuel consumption figure is worrying me... 13.6L/100kms? :S and it start from 30L/100kms when i take it out the dealer... is this sounds correct?

Mine was in the low 10's as well when I got it. Give it some time and it'll come down as the engine frees up.

Congrats on the new car Denot, i know you've been waiting for a little while now. You'll have to post some pics if you haven't already!

Did you reset the fuel consumption after taking delivery of the car? If you started at 30L/100Kms it's affecting your overall figure.

I'm at 9.8L/100Kms with 315Kms on the clock. All city driving and giving it some stick from time to time to vary the revs.

Denot, I have seen over 40L/100 when i leave a service station, but it quickly drops down.
you should be getting a lot better than that, but i think your mostly driving in the middle of Sydney which will have a detrimental effect. I also believe it has been raining there this weekend, driving on wet roads increases fuel consumption as it increases rolling resistance.

I sent you a PM previously telling you a good trip from sydney to help run it in, i suggest you do that trip ASAP.

I would reset trip B & leave it for long term average, set trip A to automatically reset every time you fill with fuel.

Sounds like CU2 are more fuel efficient than the CL9.

which is suprising considering it's heavier and has a shorter box.

Sounds like CU2 are more fuel efficient than the CL9.No question about it with my experience comparing my CU2 to my old CL9. I have to admit, I am very surprised, but it doesn't take much to give it a better tune.
