View Full Version : Spoon n1 vs Replica Spoon n1

Hi everyone, just wondering has anyone ever used a Replica Spoon n1 muffler before? Im about to purchase one, but just wanna know if there is any difference between the two besides one saying Spoon and other nothing.

Hopefully this helps me with making my decision

Replica? As in Spoon vs Vision? or as in Spoon vs Generic?

If you're talking about Vision, they make the exhaust systems as well as some other parts for Spoon =)

i think its made by JC.project. It looks exactly the same as spoon besides the lil hole for the silencer and the spoon plate on the muffler.

price

$280 for rep, $500+ for genuine does the price different make up for performance gains? =)

well its not 500 its like 750-1000 now with the yen
its made of better stainless
its has perfect welds, has perfect fitment
it is real light , it has a spoon badge
internals will be better materials
it also fits stock oem b pipes
and its spoon what more can u say

if its the n1 muffler i think you're talking about (carbon fibre chamber), probably not a good idea to fork out $250 for a replica... you can pick them up on ebay for around $30. plus, theyre no good if you're chasing power, as the carbon fibre is riveted on to the end pieces, and anyone whos worked with rivets knows that theres a whole in the centre...

one is genuine, real, legit.
the other is a replica, fake, counter fed, copy.

power gains, probably the same.
