wierd noise

my civic eg5 si starting to pull a weird noise on me.
im driving, but when i downshift, it makes a noise, not a loud knocking noise..
but a noise that gets to you. coming from the front right, sitting in the driver seat
i doubt it could be a shaft, cause then it would of been a loud knocking noise and when you turn it should make a louder noise.
this noise only happens when speed decrease, but when i press the gas its gone.

so what would you think it will be? i know its not good enuf information but thats how i can only describe it.
maybe wheel bearing? all gears go in perfectly, even if its a gearbox problem the sound would be much worse..

just guessing but maybe a bearing or could be your mount.

does it happen only when your slowing? if it was your bearing it think it would happen at low revs with WOT...someone could confirm?

yeah when i slow down and sometimes on low revs
when i was in 3rd at low rev, i put gas to go..you can hear it, then when i change gears into 4th, its gone.

yeah i think have your bearing checked...i had the same/similar to what you are describing...my mechanic was able to tell me the problem just from road test so speak to your mechanic for confirmation
