roof respray

Hi guys,

The roof on my dc4 fading due to a couple for bird craps stains which have grew larger.

how much would it cost to respray my roof?

i also have a sunroof if that makes any difference

and can you recommended any good places in melbourne

Have you tried applying cutter on the surface to shed away a thin layer before going to respray the whole thing?

i havent applied a cutter but i dont think it will work any way. the paint has definatly gone. i forgot abt it once, and i went through touchless machine wash and it got worse...

I only suggested it because with my old EG, it had heavy oxidation on the roof and i spent almost 4hrs with a drill, pad and a cutting agent and completely got rid of the oxidised layer.

Go to your local car paint shop. I am in brisbane and got my EG 4-doors roof done for $250. I don't think it would be any more than what I paid! Shop around you might find someone that will do it cheaper!

PS. With the sunroof I would imagine it will be cheaper! Less roof to paint!
