i didnt get this bit

"Take out the VSS ( located on the top of the diff housing) - simple CLIP it off. Then use a 10mm socket + extension to get down there and take out the 1 or 2 bolts , remove VSS."

can you explain

You dont have to unclip the grey plug. just undo the tall 10mm bolt that is holding the vehicle speed senser to the gearbox and slowly pull it out and put it aside.

that hole u see in the pic is where u feed the DIY filler into and pour the gearbox fluid.

Also, just one other thing to note, although it's pretty obvious. Make sure that there is no dirt and crap around the VSS that will fall into the gearbox when you remove it. Quite often a lot of sand and grit can build up there, and you probably don't want that in your gearbox!

Good luck

also, pour a little clean fluid in while you still have the drain plug removed.
this will help flush out the old fluid and crap.

yep, i do it this way too, easiest and safest way to make sure the level is right. def flush a bit extra fluid thru as well.
