change pod filter; intake and exhaust manifold. spark plug. this is really easy to be done.

Next step can put turbo cost around 1500-2000 for cheap one at ebay. My cousin did it and not bad.
If u want better option go for engine swap. B16 or B18 is a lot in the market. you can get it done around 4K for b16.

if u want to increase power a bit x2 the pod filter and extractors. a good high flow cat will help too

budget and how much gain?
if you dont state the budget or intended gain, you've got anything from filter upgrades, to engine swaps, which are radically different

turbo or engine swaps are the only options

the i/h/e will only gain you if you're lucky 7hp on average, lol (been there before, dyno sheets to prove, (100hp atw, lol)

the best mod you can do is to get some 16's, decent rubber on them, upgrade your suspension and bushes, and add the ek4/em1 sway bar

will be alot more effective than any engine mods :D

bigger intake pipe , 3a pod filter (dont go for that branded crap)
4-2-1 headers , high flow cat & custom slightly larger than 2" b pipe
